Meet Mitch,
Mitch is the owner and founder of People's Physiotherapy.
A physiotherapist for over a decade, his clinical foundations are rooted in manual therapy, movement and the Pilates method.
Early in his career, Mitch discovered that teaching people to move differently - not just treating their pain - was where real, lasting change happened. That philosophy has shaped everything about the way he works.
In search of deeper clinical answers, Mitch trained under Dr. Linda-Joy Lee in Vancouver for four years, working and learning her ConnectTherapy™ methodology. He developed a specialisation in thoracic rehabilitation and treatment, training intensively in one of the most rigorous and respected approaches to whole-body assessment and treatment in the world.
Beyond clinical practice, Mitch is passionate about teaching. He mentors physiotherapists across other clinics, helping them sharpen their skills and deepen their approach. He runs workshops for Pilates instructors and physios, teaching them how to get the most out of their movement and exercise prescription. His philosophy is simple: he can only help one person at a time in the clinic, but if he can teach other clinicians to be better at what they do, the ripple effect helps far more people.
Mitch's favourite clients are the ones nobody else has been able to figure out. The people who have tried everything, seen everyone, and still aren't getting better. He's a deep problem solver by nature - relentlessly curious about why things aren't working and what's actually driving the problem. He wants to know who you are, what matters to you, and how your physiotherapy can actually fit within your life.
That curiosity, and that commitment to people, is why he built People's Physiotherapy.
